Happy Sunday!
Five minutes each week to reset, reflect, and move forward with intention.
1 INSIGHT TO CONSIDER
Make before you judge.
The voice in your head wants to evaluate everything in real time. It questions every sentence, every brushstroke, every attempt. But creativity doesn’t thrive under a microscope. It needs room to breathe. Judgment cuts off flow, while making invites discovery.
Nothing great gets made while you’re measuring it. Your job, especially in the beginning, is simply to make. Freely, clumsily and without it needing to be good. There’s time to refine later. For now, let the work take shape before you decide what it is.
2 REFLECTIONS TO SIT WITH
Every idea is awkward before it becomes elegant.
What you’re creating doesn’t need to be great, it just needs to be true.
3 PROMPTS FOR THE WEEK
Where am I letting judgment stop me from starting?
What might happen if I created without editing for one hour or one session?
How would I show up if I trusted the process instead of the outcome?
Until next week,
Chris
