French artist Edgar Degas believed that the true essence of art lies in its ability to open people’s eyes and take them on a journey. This mindset is shared by great artists in all disciplines.
As artists, creating impact and enabling others to see and feel things in new ways motivates us. I know it does for me.
As communicators and storytellers, we harness the power of our mediums to share ideas that ‘evoke emotions’ and ‘provoke thought.’
The impact art has on individuals and communities cannot be understated, as it has the potential to inspire change.
When I started The Intentional Artist, it was with the desire to support artists and creators like you.
And this week, I’m reaching out to you with ONE question:
What content would benefit you most, or would want to see more of in this newsletter?
My aim is to cultivate a community where we learn and grow together. Your input will help guide the type of content that is most valuable to our community.
Understanding your interests allows me to share content that supports your goals and aspirations, such as:
Inspiration to refine your craft.💡
Content that provides fresh perspectives to reflect on. 🤔
Strategies to turn your creativity into a sustainable career.💰
Insights from fellow artists that stimulate new ideas and progress, regardless of medium.🎙️
If this resonates, could you weigh in on this question?
Looking forward to hearing from you…
Artfully yours,
Chris

Ideas you’d like covered in future editions
Your biggest takeaway from this edition
I do read and reply to every single one of them!
Interesting to see ‘Mindset for creative success’ take an early lead. Is that down to ‘mindset’ or ‘success’ I wonder? My own feeling is that we are inundated with offers of potential solutions for success, marketing and mastering, and that provoking thought is a richer vein. If I could have, I would have voted for these from your earlier list:
- Content that provides fresh perspectives to reflect on
- Insights from fellow artists that stimulate new ideas and progress, regardless of medium
I settled on interviews and case studies, which isn’t necessarily the same thing. But thank you for asking Chris 🙂
Hi Chris, thanks so much for this. Glad that I came across your stack. Subscribed for sure.
Always interested in the process of an artist in any discipline, so I voted for mastering my craft? Anyway, looking forward to digging into some of your back posts, looks like there’s a lot of interesting stuff here. Thanks again.
