great post - little steps and pushing through the doubts is a daily task. For me the communication and networking side is my nemesis - too much discouragement makes it difficult for me to reappear from the pile of rubble each time. Hey Alex, thank you for the kind words and for being open about your struggle with networking. Your effort to engage is a major step forward. To make networking more manageable, you might consider setting some small daily steps, as you put it.
Also, not sure if you do much interacting on social platforms like Instagram or LinkedIn, but interacting with those platforms and here on Substack works the muscle, so to speak and it gets easier the more you do it. As long as you have the time to do so.
Ignore the naysayers, their opinions are not a reflection of your worth. In any creative journey, you’ll encounter criticism and some negative responses. See it as a test rather than a deterrent.
